How steam vents work

The current steam-vent modifier grants 3 health per second plus 0.25% of maximum health per second.

The configured fade time is 0.75 seconds. Allies and enemies sharing the same vent can still see you. Invisibility does not make you invulnerable.

Use a vent as a recovery stop or a concealed position before a fight. Check nearby enemies and your exit before relying on it.

Locations come from Deadlock’s Midtown game files, checked against build 26147187 on October 25, 2026. Some locations occupy different heights. These are authored map locations, not a live match tracker. Photos and video chapters are older references; changed placements carry a note.
